Cherry Harvest 2025: 50 Pounds on Organic Sweet Cherries

On July 3rd, Ben Nobleman Park was buzzing with cherry lovers of all ages. It was our annual community cherry harvest, and this year, our two big sweet cherry trees really showed off — they were heavy with fruit, branches dripping with beautiful, sweet cherries just waiting to be picked.

There’s something about the first Stewardship Day of the season that feels a little like waking up after a long winter nap. The trees are just starting to stir, the air is still crisp, but there’s a buzz of excitement—and at Ben Nobleman Park Community Orchard, we felt it big time this past weekend!
